OYOPHCB

What We Do

Our Key Services

Maternal & Child Health

OYOPHCB provides comprehensive maternal and child healthcare services including antenatal checkups, skilled birth attendance, postnatal care, and child wellness monitoring. Our programs reduce maternal/infant mortality through education, nutrition support, and 24/7 emergency obstetric care at primary health centers across all 33 LGAs, ensuring safe pregnancies and healthy childhood development.

Health Education & Awareness

We conduct community workshops, radio campaigns and school programs teaching proper nutrition, hygiene practices, family planning, and disease prevention. Our health promoters work with traditional leaders to improve health literacy and dispel myths, empowering residents to make informed decisions about their wellbeing.

Immunization Programs

We deliver free, life-saving vaccinations against polio, measles, yellow fever, hepatitis, and other preventable diseases through routine immunization and mass campaigns. Our cold chain system maintains vaccine potency while mobile teams reach remote communities. Over 1 million children immunized annually with 90% coverage rate achieved statewide.

Disease Prevention & Control

Our disease surveillance teams actively monitor, prevent and manage malaria, HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, Lassa fever and other infectious diseases. Services include free testing, treatment, insecticide-treated nets distribution, contact tracing, and public education to reduce transmission and improve health outcomes in high-risk communities.

Emergency Medical Services

Our rapid response teams deploy during outbreaks, disasters and health emergencies with mobile clinics, emergency supplies and trained personnel. We coordinate with NCDC and WHO for disease containment, while maintaining emergency obstetric care and trauma services at designated facilities 24/7.
